Day -01 – Receive at Airport/Pinnawala/Dambulla

Warmly welcomed by our airport representative. Will drive to Habarana. En route visit Pinnawla elephant orphanage.

Travel Time (Airport to Dambulla):3 hours 30 minutes

Pinnawala elephant orphanage – (entrance fee app. 10 $ per person)

The Pinnawala elephant orphanage is one of the most popular excursions and tourist destinations since its inception back in 1975. It’s a rare opportunity to get up close and personal with the elephants, which makes for a memorable experience.

Check in to hotel and rest of the day at leisure.

Day -02 – Sigiriya/Minneriya National Park

Early morning visit (around 6.00am) Sigiriya. You will able to see stunning view while sun is rising.

Sigiriya- (entrance fee app. 15 $ per person)

It was named as the eighth wonder of ancient world, a rock fortress of Sri Lanka. The entrance looks like the mouth of a lion, it stands tall even today reminding of ancient wonder. There are frescoes you can see inside the mighty rock. Sigiriya today is a UNESCO listed world heritage site.

Back to hotel and in the evening visit Elephant safari in Minneriya or Kaudulla national park. (Entrance to the park, jeep and a tracker can be hired at 60 $ per person)

These parks by the tank built by king prakaramabahu is a habitat for wildlife and birds. Minneriya is an ideal destination to see wildlife and elephants. Your driver can assist you to arrange a good safari with one of the best service providers at a better price.

Overnight stay at Dambulla.

Day -03 – Dambulla/Kandy

After breakfast, proceed to Kandy and en route visit Danbulla cave temple and Spice garden.

Travel Time (Dambulla-Kandy):3 hours 30 minutes

Dambulla cave temple-(entrance fee app. 10 $ per person)

Dambulla temple is a cave temple dating back to the 12^th century which was once refuge to king Walagamba. Today it bears intricately carved statues of Lord Buddha and various Hindu gods. Dambulla cave temple is also a UNESCO listed world heritage.

Spice garden

Enjoy Sri Lanka’s world renowned spices at their source. Visit a spice garden, where aroma of cinnamon, pepper, cardamom, nutmeg and mace overwhelm the senses and the visitors are provided an insight into an age old industry of spice production, which attracted many European and Asian merchants to the ports of ancient Sri Lanka.

Check in to hotel and rest some time .In the evening visit Cultural show-(entrance fee app. 6 $ per person)

You can witness a cultural show featuring traditional Sri Lankan dancing, mask show and fire dancing in the evening.

Overnight stay at kandy.

Day -04 – Kandy/Ramboda/Nuwaraeliya

After breakfast visit to Kandy city tour.

Temple of tooth-(Entrance fee app. 10 $ per person)

Sri Dalada Maligawa or the Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic is the most prominent Buddhist temple in the country, it is located in the Royal Palace Complex of the former Kingdom.

Guest should be dressed covering knees and shoulders in a respectful manner.

Thereafter visit to. (Entrance free)

• Batik factory
• Wood carving
• Gem museum

Thereafter you will transfer to Ramboda and visit a Tea factory and experience the process of how the world’s best known tea is made and enjoy a panoramic view of Ramboda Waterfall with a refreshment.

Travel Time (Kandy to Nuwaraeliya):2 hours 30 minutes

Overnight stay at Nuwaraeliya.

Day -05 Nuwaraeliya-Ella

Nuwaraeliya is also called “The Little England”, the structures have a British touch here.

After breakfast, visit to Nuwaraeliya city and Sitta Amman temple before drive to Nanu Oya rail station.   The train ride (4hr) from Nanu Oya to Ella is undoubtedly one of the most scenic train rides in the world. Magnificent views of the tea plantation, forests and mountains are something you should not miss.

On arrival at Ella you will be picked up by our driver and proceed to Ella hotel.

Day -06 – Ella

Ella is the gateway from the dry zone to the hills of Sri Lanka. This town offers you a range of activities from hiking to exploring caves, a walk to the famed 9 Arches railway bridge, Little Adams peak climb and of course an evening of local pub crawling and a number of local restaurants.

Early morning you will climb to Little Adam’s Peak for a breathtaking view and the sunrise.

Back to hotel after breakfast visit Nine Arch Bridge and capture beautiful photographs with the train.

Day -07 Galle/Bentota

Aftre breakfast ,proceed to Bentota and on the way visit the Galle Dutch fort, this is also where the Portuguese first set foot in the year 1505 and built a fortress, which was later captured and fortified by the Dutch in the 17th century. The fortress is one of the best preserved on the island. This is a UNESCO world heritage site.

Travel Time (Ella to Bentota):3 hours 30 minutes

Day – 08 & Day 09 – Bentota

The resort town of Bentota is located on the southwestern coast of Sri Lanka, 82km south of Colombo. Long stretches of sandy beaches, winding rivers, ancient history and exciting water sports make Bentota a popular destination for locals, as well as foreign holiday makers.

Things do in Bentota

Turtle hatchery-(Entrance fee app. 6 $ per person)

Sea Turtles are one of threatened species of the world. Southern costal line is a common place for laying eggs by sea turtles. Visit turtle hatcheries and learn how they are conserved ad protected.

Madhu river boat safari & fish foot massage-(Entrance fee app. 25 $ per person)

Madu River is a complex coastal ecosystem of mangroves and islands. It may be one of the last remaining tracts of pristine mangrove forests in Sri Lanka. A boat trip is a wonderful way of seeing some of the hundreds of species of plants and animals.

Overnight stay at Bentota.

Day -10 Colombo-Departure

After breakfast proceed to Colombo.

Travel time (Bentota to Colombo): 1.5 hours

Afternoon go on a site seeing and a shopping trip around the busy cities of Colombo. You’ll be seeing the famous Gangarama temple, Seema MaLakaya, Lotus tower the Municipal Council and Galle Face Green. You can enjoy fair bargain by shopping at some of the reputed shopping malls such as Odel, liberty plaza, majestic city, one gall face, etc.

Now that you are at the end of your journey with us,  chauffeur will comfortably take you to the international airport in time for your departure flight.

All sightseeing optional, can visit if guest likes only.

Some sites are subject to time and weather condition and other unavoidable circumstances

At Nuwara eliya, sightseeing & travel not allowed after 8 pm due to mist & fog

2) PAYMENT TERMS

To confirm the bookings you will have to pay 50% of the total package. Balance payable in full 45 days prior to arrival. Full payment is required if tour is booked less than 45 days.

The remaining balance can be paid by cash only on arrival at airport. No any additional charges cost

Methods of Payment

Payments for full or part payment for the travel arrangements may be made either by 1) bank transfer or 2) credit card (Visa, MasterCard, AMEX and China Union Pay). If paid via bank transfer, all additional charges and fees related to the transfer will be borne by you.

Credit Card (Master or Visa Card):

There will be a service charge of 3.5% if the payment is made by credit card if the money is to be settled by Master or Visa card.

ENTRY/VISA REQUIREMENTS

CURRENT ENTRY PROCEDURE FOR SRI LANKA

• Guests should carry the original vaccination certificate/card with them (if the vaccination card details are not in

English, should produce a translated certified copy).

• Each traveller should submit a Health declaration form on arrival at the airport in Sri Lanka along with the above mentioned documents.
• A valid passport, not less than six months, a confirmed return or onward air ticket and sufficient funds for the stay are other the entry requirements to the country.
