Day -01 – Receive at Airport/Habarana

On arrival at the Bandaranayaka International Airport, our chauffer guide will welcome you in the public lobby area and drive to Chilaw. (Approx.1 hrs. travel time)

Visit Munnneswaram Temple and Manavari Temple.

Munnneswaram Temple

This temple dedicated to lord Shiva was located here. Munishwaram means the first temple for Shiva (Munnu + Easwaran).

Manavari Temple.

Manavari is the first place where Lord Rama installed the Siva Lingam and prayed after the end of the war with King Ravana .This Lingam is called Ramalingam because it was made by Lord Rama. Apart from this, the Lingam in Rameshwaram is the only Lingam in the world which is named after Lord Rama.

Thereafter proceed to Sigiriya, after lunch check- in to the hotel.

1500: Sigiriya Rock Fortress exploration

Sigiriya Rock Fortress

This Rock to be the site of Ravana‘s glittering palace, made of solid gold and crafted by Kubera. Believed to be built 50 centuries ago, it is said that the palace had a special lift for Ravana and his visitors. One of the caves at the bottom of this humongous boulder is where Ravana imprisoned Sita.

Overnight stay at Habarana.

Day -02 – TRINCOMALEE/SIGIRIYA

Breakfast 0700. Departure at 0800 to Trincomalee

Travel time 2 hrs approximately.

Visit Thirukoneswram Temple and Fort Fredrick.

Thirukoneswram Temple

The temple was built by Sage Agasthyar as per the instruction of Lord Siva who was impressed by the devotion of King Ravana. Lord Rama also offered his prayers on his return to get rid of the Brahmahasthi Dosham.

Fort Fredrick

The Portuguese built the Fort in the year 1624 from the remains of the Hindu temple which was destroyed. The Fort was later captured by the Dutch who used it as a means to defend against the advancements of the British and the French. The fort was eventually captured by the British, and they used it for all their sea operations. British renamed it as Fort Fredrick.

Lunch at 1230 -1330.

Visit Lovers Leap and Kinniya Hot Wells. 

Lovers Leap

Lovers leap is one of the many breathtaking view points in the coastal town of Trincomalee. You could find the famous lovers leap, en route to the Rameswaram temple. The legends say the Lovers Leap, which is a cleft, was formed by the action of Ravana when he had lifted the rock temple; Lord Shiva has made him drop his sword. Thus, the clash has formed the cleft, while some believe that the fame of the cleft has been obtained when a girl named Francisca van reed dropped from the cleft as she missed her lover who sailed away on a ship

Kinniya Hot Wells

It is believed that Kanniya is the place where King Ravana carried out the last rites for his mother. When he was not able to find water to perform his rites, he is sheer anger pierced the ground with his trishul seven times and water started gushing out immediately. It is believed that the anger of the king subsided on seeing the water and similarly the warmth of the water also reduced. The temperature of the water is different in each of the seven wells.

1600 Depart Trincomalee.

You may experience wild elephants by the side of the road when travelling through the forest area.

Dinner at the hotel overnight stay at Habarana.

Day -03 -Kandy –Ramboda-Nuwaraeliya

Breakfast 0700. Departure at 0800 to Kandy.

Travel time 3 hrs approximately.

Visit Temple of the Sacred tooth Relic.

Sri Dalada Maligawa or the Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic is    the most prominent Buddhist temple in the country, it is located in the Royal Palace Complex of the former Kingdom.

Guest should be dressed covering knees and shoulders in a respectful manner.

Lunch at 1230 -1330.

Reach Ramboda by 1430 .

Visit Sri Bakitha Hanuman Temple.

Next visit a Tea factory and experience the process of how the world’s best known tea is made and enjoy a panoramic view of Ramboda Waterfall with a freshly brewed cup of tea.

Reach Nuwaraeliya by evening.

Dinner and overnight stay at Nuwaraeliaya hotel.

Day -04 – Nuwaraeliya – Ella

Breakfast 0800. Departure at 0900 to Ella.

Travel time 3 hrs approximately.

En route visit Sita Amman Temple,Hakagala Botanical Gardens and Divurumpola.

Sita Amman Temple

There is stream by the side of the temple. It is believed that Sita Devi bathed in this stream, It is interesting to note that foot prints akin to Lord Hanuman’s are found on the rocks along this river and some are of small in size and some are large in size. Which indicating the immense power of Lord Hanuman transforming himself.

Hakagala Botanical Gardens

This was one of the pleasure gardens of King Ravana. This is the exotic pleasure garden where King Ravana kept the depressed Sita, insisting that she marries him. This garden was expanded during the British period and has a wide variety of flowers including an excellent collection of orchids.

Divurumpola

This is the place where Sita Devi underwent “Agni” test. Divurampola means a place of oath. Nowadays popular place of worship among locals in that area.

Lunch at 1300 at Ella and check in to hotel. Afternoon 1600, visit Nine Arches Bridge and climb to Little Adams’s Peak to view for sunset.

Dinner and overnight stay at Ella.

Overnight stay at Nuwaraeliya.

Day -05 Ella-Departure to Colombo airport

Check out after breakfast and drive to Airport. Travel time 4 hrs approximately. En route visit Ravana water fall.

This marvelous waterfall is one of the widest in Sri Lanka, and is one of the top attractions to see in the quaint town of Ella, Sri Lanka. With fantastic views that look out to the surrounding valleys and mountains – it is definitely worth the visit.

Now that you are at the end of your journey with us, chauffeur will comfortably take you to the international airport in time for your departure flight.

2) PAYMENT TERMS

To confirm the bookings you will have to pay 50% of the total package. Balance payable in full 45 days prior to arrival. Full payment is required if tour is booked less than 45 days.

The remaining balance can be paid by cash only on arrival at airport. No any additional charges cost

Methods of Payment

Payments for full or part payment for the travel arrangements may be made either by 1) bank transfer or 2) credit card (Visa, MasterCard, AMEX and China Union Pay). If paid via bank transfer, all additional charges and fees related to the transfer will be borne by you.

Credit Card (Master or Visa Card):

There will be a service charge of 3.5% if the payment is made by credit card if the money is to be settled by Master or Visa card.

ENTRY/VISA REQUIREMENTS

CURRENT ENTRY PROCEDURE FOR SRI LANKA

• Guests should carry the original vaccination certificate/card with them (if the vaccination card details are not in

English, should produce a translated certified copy).

• Each traveller should submit a Health declaration form on arrival at the airport in Sri Lanka along with the above mentioned documents.
• A valid passport, not less than six months, a confirmed return or onward air ticket and sufficient funds for the stay are other the entry requirements to the country.
